CROWLEY ASSOCIATES, an industry-leading manufacturers representative since 1984, is seeking a motivated, self-driven Sales Engineer to increase new and existing customer sales utilizing Crowley’s winning sales process within the area of: Rochester and Buffalo.

Roles and responsibilities:


  • Expansion of our market share with an existing account base

  • Developing new accounts and contacts through the sale of our manufacturers' products or services

  • Travel to customers to identify opportunities and create new business opportunities

  • Virtual selling using the tools provided to identify and create new business opportunities and contacts

  • Thorough understanding of Crowley’s product offerings and applications

  • Support channel partners at trainings and customer visits both virtually and in-person

  • Complete online trainings and attend company paid technical trainings and seminars.

Interpersonal skills:

The candidate will need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to make effective presentations. Proficiency with digital marketing techniques is critical. Must have the ability to sell, persuade, influence, and negotiate to achieve sales objectives. Applicant must have proven ability to build relationships at all levels within customers.


Must have at least three-years of outside sales experience. Candidates with an understanding of the electronics market, manufacturers representative firm, and or the distribution channels are preferred. A technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent discipline is desired. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Business Management will also be considered. Applicant needs to be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products

and CRM software.
